Q: Where can I obtain WESTERN pricing information?
A: Because snow
plows are not sold direct from the factory, all pricing must be
obtained through an authorized Western® distributor. Please
contact Quality Truck & Equipment for information 1-800-678-2459.
Q: Do you offer a WESTERN snowplow for my truck?
A: To help determine
whether or not a specific snowplow application is offered for your
vehicle, please contact Quality Truck & Equipment 1-800-678-2459,
and provide the following information on your truck:
- Vehicle make, model, and year
- Drive train
- Body Style (Regular, extended, quad, crew,
or chassis cab)
- Box Option (Bed size)
- Engine
- FGAWR (Front gross axle weight rating)*
- GVWR (Gross vehicle weight rating)*
* Gross vehicle and axle weight ratings can be
found on the driver-side door jamb of the vehicle.
Q: Where can I see literature on the WESTERN
products that are offered?
A: Western Products
has made all of its literature available online. How do you download
it?
Q: I have a UniMount® snowplow on my truck. I
am considering a new truck. Will my UniMount® plow transfer to the
new truck?
A: Typically in
a UniMount® plow transfer, the only components that might possibly
need to be purchased would be a mount and harness, as these items
are vehicle specific. If you are transferring to a new truck which
has the same frame and headlight configuration as your old truck,
these items may not be necessary. Another factor to consider is
that, while we may offer a snowplow for your new truck, we may not
be able to recommend the same size blade that you had on your old
truck due to weight capacities and limitations.
To be on the safe side, you should consult with
contact Quality Truck & Equipment 1-800-678-2459 prior to a
new vehicle purchase. Provide the information for both your old
and new truck, is as follows:
- Year, make and model
- Pick up, chassis cab, or sport utility vehicle
- Regular, extended, crew or quad cab for pick-up
trucks; 2-door or 4-door for sport utility vehicles
- Bed size
- Engine
- Front gross axle weight rating
- Gross vehicle weight rating
Q: I recently purchased a used snowplow and would
like to install it myself. Can I obtain installation instructions
from the factory?
A: Yes. This information
is available in WESTERN's
online Publications Library. To navigate through the Publications
Library, simply click through each path that applies to the piece
of literature you are looking for (i.e. Installation Instructions),
where you can download and print the piece of literature you are
searching for.
Please note that not every WESTERN® snowplow
can be transferred to every truck. Snowplows are vehicle specific.
Q: Do you offer WESTERN snowplows for sport utility
vehicles?
