UNIQUE FEATURES
Plow Blade Construction
- The 29 1/2" tall, 12-gauge powder coated steel moldboard features a patented mechanical wing design that delivers a plowing path of 8' 7" in scoop mode and 9' 8" with both wings pinned back straight.
- The 70-degree attack angle ensures a clean scrape with every pass and a high carbon steel cutting edge comes standard, reducing wear and extending the life of the blade.
Structural Reinforcement
- Six vertical ribs and the exclusive WESTERN POWER BAR provide exceptional torsional strength and rigidity across the entire back of the plow blade, to eliminate blade twisting. Two additional ribs on each wing provide extra reinforcement.
- The high-strength steel base channel provides extra support along the bottom of the plow blade.
- The 1" diameter pivot bolt secures the plow in place, ensuring proper alignment and reducing stress on the overall plow assembly.

- Western manufactures their own hydraulic components to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability, so that you get a hydraulics system that’s not only fast and responsive, but that's built to last season after season.

Trip Protection
- Four heavy-duty coil springs protect your plow and truck by allowing the whole blade to trip when striking obstacles.
- Wing protection is provided by the heavy-duty coil springs and cable assembly, which helps absorb the shock when striking objects, and then automatically returns the wings to their scoop position.
Plow Wings for Efficiency
- When you change the plowing angle, the PRODIGY snowplow wings automatically adjust to provide the most efficient plowing configuration for the job.
Skid-Steer Compatible Mount Kit
- The PRODIGY snow plow is also available with skid-steer mounting options. Skid-steer plows are quick to install and easy to operate with an onboard hydraulic system for powerful, efficient operation. An oscillating skid-steer attachment provides six degrees of side-to-side movement for improved scraping and cutting edge wear while reducing damage to the terrain. This design allows the skid-steer loader bucket’s hydraulics to lift and lower the blade for improved operator performance.
Tractor Compatible Mount Kit
- Designed for easy installation onto a wide range of tractor models, these mount kits make it possible for the PRODIGY winged plow to fit on a compact tractor. They are flared both vertically and horizontally to ensure proper alignment and make the drive-in connection easier. The push beam, which makes up the front portion of the mount, can be quickly detached to allow for a loader attachment.

- The UltraMount 2 system is designed for fast and easy installation and removal using a simple mechanical system. It features a robust one-piece design and is 100% compatible with UltraMount system mounts and electrical platforms.

- The mechanical chain lift system offers a variety of performance and reliability advantages over a hydraulic system. Main benefits include cleaner scraping performance, higher stacking capabilities, reliability, and easy recovery in the event of a breakdown.
FLEET FLEX Electrical System
- The FLEET FLEX electrical system provides true fleet interchangeability. The same CabCommand hand-held or joystick control can operate the following UltraMount and UltraMount 2 mounted plows on any truck at any time.
SECURITY GUARD Anti-Theft System
- The exclusive WESTERN SECURITY GUARD™ snowplow anti-theft system is a safe and secure way to electronically lock your snow plow when it is detached from your truck as a deterrent from theft. Unlike physical locks that can easily be cut or removed, the system allows you to electronically lock the snowplow’s hydraulic functions, rendering your plow inoperable to unauthorized users.
Control Options
- Choose between a CabCommand hand-held control with push buttons or a joystick control, based on operator preference. For efficient, precise and intuitive blade control while plowing, both controls feature power "on" and "float" LED lights, backlighting for night operation, and plug-in connector for easy removal.
Isolation Module
- This advanced snow plow light and electrical system features improved electrical pins in the harness for trouble-free connections. An underhood module improves system life and complies with OEM requirements. No toggle switch needed to change from vehicle to plow lights.

Pre-Punched Blades for Accessories
- The blade is pre-punched for easy installation of accessories, providing a custom fit. The pre-punched holes also prevent damage to the powder coat that can sometimes occur when installing an accessory.
