Tractor Salt Spreader Design
The Hilltip IceStriker 12V electric salt and sand spreader for tractors has a lightweight poly hopper and mounted parts in stainless steel. These high-quality components offer superior protection against corrosion and rust. Our unique tractor-mounted salt and sand spreader, equipped with the HTrack tracking & control system, helps you save money and reduce environmental impact while achieving efficient de-icing results.
Liquid De-Icing Spreader
The tractor salt spreader can easily be transformed into a brine sprayer or into a combi- spreader. Integrated tanks in the double walled hopper holds up to 120 gallons of liquid. The spreader is optionally equipped with a 6'7" spray bar and a hose reel with hand-held spray nozzle.
STANDARD FEATURES
Color Screen Controller: Tailor your spreading session to your needs with the customizable controller. The automatic GPS speed control adjusts the amount of spreading material (lbs/sq ft) according to your vehicle speed, while manual mode lets you insert a fixed auger speed. The controller additionally collects and saves essential data online, allowing you to generate spreading reports. Our controller also makes it easy to turn on functions, like the vibrator, beacon and work light, from inside the cabin.
Online Data-Logging: Online data-logging transfer via controller
Inverted V: Inverted-V helps reduce heavy start-up loads on the auger. All in stainless steel.
Vibrator: Vibrator prevents bridging and de-icing material from clogging by shaking the inverted-V.
Auger: 2.5"’ stainless steel auger (800 TR) and 4.5’’ stainless steel auger (1200-1900 TR)
Top Screen: Top screen prevents rocks and big material chunks from getting into the hopper.
Support Legs: Supportlegs for easier storage.
